How You Can Help
Students from Laguna Blanca, Montecito Union, Crane, Cold Springs, Bishop Diego, Marymount, and Santa Barbara Middle School participate in the process of collecting never/gently used sports equipment and sports clothing for the Sports Drive. The Sports Drive is held to increase membership at the Santa Barbara Boy’s & Girl’s Clubs and to provide sports equipment and clothing directly to kids in need in the Santa Barbara community.
PLEASE contact any of the student Sports Drive Founding Members listed on the contact page and we will make arrangements to pick up your large donations.
We need enough “stuff” to fill a gym!!! The First Annual Sports Drive provided sports equipment and clothing to over 700 kids in our community. At the Second Annual Sports Drive more than a thousand kids attended and we gave away well over 4000 items.
We have completed the second annual sports drive, however, we are continuing to collect additional sports equipment and clothing throughout the year to be used at the third annual sports drive.

Here are some examples of what we need:
Balls, bats, gloves, helmets, surfboards, boogie boards, skateboards, bikes, rackets, shin guards, pads, jerseys, shirts, shorts, and shoes. We are looking for some games related to sports including sport trading cards; however this is a sports drive, not a toy drive, but if the toys relate to sports and are suitable for kids between the ages of 5 and 18, then we would love to get your donation.
We do not want large kayaks, motorized vehicles, trampolines, treadmills, or other large exercise machines.
